What are Ectotherms

Ectotherms are common cold-blooded animals that depend on external sources of trunk heat such as sunlight. This means these animals cannot control their trunk temperature through physiological conditions. Invertebrates, fish, amphibians, and reptiles are ectotherms. Ectotherms alive in habitats with ambient temperatures such every bit oceans. Birds take feathers to conserve heat in the cold temperatures.
